Black Sabbath debut new song, “Loner”, live in Australia

Black Sabbath debut new song, “Loner”, live in Australia

Black Sabbath fans down under are scoring big as the band continues their trek through Australia. Sabbath debuted another new tune titled ‘Loner’ during their gig last night (May 1) in Melbourne, marking the song’s world premiere.

The fan-filmed footage above of Black Sabbath performing ‘Loner’ is reminiscent of old school Black Sabbath, rich with classic Tony Iommi riffs. Initial feedback on the new song based on the amateur footage covers a broad spectrum from “best song on the album yet,” and “eargasmic riff by Iommi” to fans lamenting over Ozzy Osbourne’s lackluster vocals. In all fairness to Ozzy, this isn’t professional footage and should only serve as a teaser to the full, studio recording of the track.

School Kids Sing Black Sabbath’s “Iron Man”

School Kids Sing Black Sabbath’s “Iron Man”

“Iron Man” is probably Black Sabbath’s most famous song -- a true metal anthem. The iconic track has already been used as a hymn of the football team of Sabbath’s native Aston, Birmingham. The children of the school at Staten Island, New York sing “Iron Man” on music lessons -- the new generation rocks!

Tony Iommi’s legendary band continues the world tour in support of their new album “13”. Black Sabbath have played with great success already four dates: two gigs at Auckland New Zealand, and Brisbane and Sydney in Australia. During the concerts were played three new songs from “13” : “God Is Dead”, “End Of The Beginning” and “Methademic”.

Black Sabbath debut new song

Black Sabbath debut new song "Methademic" live in Australia

Black Sabbath have just introduced the world to yet another new track from the highly anticipated album “13”. On Monday, April 29, in Melbourne, Australia, the band played a new song called “Methademic” in front of a stadium crowd.

“Methademic” seems like a guitar-driven tune at its core, with vocalist Ozzy Osbourne taking over during the song’s verses and chorus. It’s a bit difficult dissecting “Methademic” from this fan-filmed footage, but we can report that it definitely sounds like Black Sabbath. Tony Iommi’s guitar sounds huge while Ozzy’s voice is very high up in the mix, similar to the studio recording of “God is Dead?” Sabbath’s new “13”-based stage backdrop looks pretty awesome, too.

Black Sabbath music helps plants to grow better

Black Sabbath music helps plants to grow better

British gardening expert Chris Beardshaw claims that blasting plants with Black Sabbath helps them grow and fight off disease.
In his horticultural experiment he found that putting Sabbath on in a greenhouse works wonders for plants, but playing easy listening singers kills them off. Plants bombarded with Black Sabbath music were the shortest but they had the best flowers and the best resistance to pest and disease.
